How did you get started: I went to my first race at Texas Motor Speedway in 2000. That was when Dale Jr. won his first Cup race.
Who was your first favorite driver, and why: My first favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. because he was so intimidating on the race track. His nickname fit him perfectly.
Who is your favorite now, and why: Now, my favorite driver is Dale Jr. because he races so much like his dad. And, he’s his own person, which I respect.
What is your favorite driver's most memorable racing moment: It was when he won the 400-mile race at Daytona in July of 2001.
How many races do you attend a year: My wife and I attend about five races a year.
Best race you ever saw on TV or in person: The best was at Talladega in the fall of 2000 when Dale came from 17th to first in the closing laps to win his last race. The best one on TV was when Dale Jr. won at Daytona in July of 2001.
What is your favorite track for racing: Bristol, need I say more?
If your favorite driver came to your town, where would take him and what would you do: If Dale Jr. ever came to town, the first thing I would do is take him to my house to sign all of my die-cast. Then, I would introduce him to a Louisiana Style Mardi Gras. We are members of the Krewe of Centaur in Shreveport. I would give him the ride of his life on a Mardi Gras float.
If you worked at DEI, what would you like to do: Being in Law Enforcement, I would love to be in charge of security for Dale Jr.
If you ran NASCAR for a day, what rule would you change, add or delete: The one rule I would change would to make the laps run under caution not count towards the total scheduled distance.
