For this edition, we headed to where the Pacific meets the USA, Tinsletown is big and their governor a bigger star.
Seems our Fan of the Week would like to get here hands on the whole NASCAR rulebook, if she could, and do some rewriting. She has one rule in particular she’d like to change. One thing for sure is her devotion to the Earnhardt name in NASCAR.

How long have you been following racing: I’ve been following racing for eight years.
How did you get started: My sister was a fan of the sport first and she introduced it to me when she was watching the 1998 Daytona 500. We all know how won that day, and I was hooked right then.
Who was your first favorite driver, and why: Dale Sr was my first favorite driver because he was so intimidating on the race track and a very good wheelman!
Who is your favorite now, and why: Dale Jr is my favorite driver now because he is so down to earth, easy going, loyal to his fans and is his own person. Plus, he respects the history and drivers of the sport.
What is your favorite driver’s best racing moment: It’s a toss up between the Pepsi 400 win in 2001 and the Daytona 500 win in 2004.
How many races do you attend a year: I get to the two races at California Speedway each year and, hopefully, I’ll get to Lowe’s Motor Speedway in October.
Best race you ever saw on TV or in person: When Dale Jr won both the Pepsi 400 in 2001 and the 2004 Daytona 500. The best race I saw in person was the Coca Cola 600 last year. Either way, I enjoy just being at the tracks.
What is your favorite track for racing: Bristol and Daytona; hands down.
If your favorite driver came to your town, where would take him and what would you do: I would take Dale Jr to the beach and then go the local bars there at night to chill out. It would be fun to watch some of the local bands play, too.
If you worked at DEI, what would you like to do: I'd love to be a PR’s Assistant for the teams handling the travel arrangements, appearances and events at the track each weekend.
If you ran NASCAR for a day, what rule would you change, add or delete: I would re-write the rule book all over again and get rid of the green/white/checker flag rule!
