With this being our last Fan of the Week edition for this year, we went to the Bluegrass State. And, it seems we found someone in the very same town our own Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has branched out into the business of track ownership.
Having never been to a NASCAR race, this might be the perfect way our Fan of the Week gets to meet some of his racing heroes – one especially.

How long have you been following racing: I have been following the sport for 30 years
How did you get started: My father watched races all the time and I just started doing the same along with him.
Who was your first favorite driver, and why: Dale Earnhardt because I liked his driving style
Who is your favorite now, and why: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. because he reminds me of his dad’s same driving style
What is your favorite driver's best racing moment: Dale Jr. and Dale Sr. winning their respective Daytona 500 races.
How many races do you attend a year: None, I do not live close to any tracks, but now that Dale Jr. owns Paducah International Raceway that will change.
Best race you ever saw on TV or in person: I like them all and look forward to each of them
What is your favorite track for racing: Daytona and the running of the Daytona 500
If your favorite driver came to your town, where would take him and what would you do: Take him fishing at Kentucky Lake and to play pool at my home. That way, he could see all the things I have set up of him and his dad to show him how much of a fan I am of the Earnhardts.
If you worked at DEI, what would you like to do: Public Relations would be the most desirable position.
If you ran NASCAR for a day, what rule would you change, add or delete: The gear rule would be one of the first things I would want changed.
