November 18, 2009, Mooresville, N.C. – This week, Taylor Earnhardt, the youngest daughter of legendary race car driver Dale Earnhardt, will make her first trip to Ensenada, Mexico for the 42 annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. Earnhardt will be gauging interest in participating in the sport at a higher level in the future.
Not only does Earnhardt have the honor of waving the green flag to start the race on Friday, November 20, but also plans to receive first-hand experience on the race course while pre-running in a Baja Challenge car prior to the race.
Also Jeff Steiner, executive vice president and general manager for Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI) will be attending to evaluate potential synergies for the company including technology sharing, branding, marketing and potential team participation in the future. Earnhardt and Steiner are guests of Jackson Motorsports Group.
