Earnhardt Ganassi Racing
In November 2008, two of auto racing’s biggest names – Earnhardt and Ganassi – launched a multi-car race team through the combination of the motorsports operations of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. Combined, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates now sports a history that includes six NASCAR championships, over 120 victories, 80 pole positions, over 200 top-fives and four Daytona 500 crowns.
In 2009, the newly formed organization transitioned to Chevrolets and moved to the former Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates building in Concord, NC. Montoya led the organization to their first-ever spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and finished out the season with an eighth-place finish in the Championship standings.
2010 saw EGR’s most prominent season to date with Juan Pablo Montoya and Jamie McMurray behind the wheel. The season started off with a bang as McMurray returned to Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and delivered a win in the Daytona 500. McMurray backed up his Daytona win with a victory in the Brickyard 400, making Chip Ganassi the only owner to win both the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400 in the same year. Montoya then found his way to the win column with a victory at Watkins Glen in August and McMurray returned to Victory Lane for the third time at Charlotte in mid-October.
Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates is located at 8500 Westmoreland Drive, Concord, NC. It is easily accessable from I-85, Exit 52 (Poplar Tent Road West) to Derita Road.

In 1987, Dale clinched his third NASCAR Winston Cup Championship and also became the nation's newest Chevrolet dealer. Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet was one of his first off-track business ventures and it fulfilled his long-standing desire to become a Chevrolet dealer.
The annual "Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet Open House" where Earnhardt and other NASCAR stars signed autographs for the public would draw over 8,000 visitors in a single day.
To this day, Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet is one of Catawba County's most visited tourist attractions, and an automotive destination.

Earnhardt-Childress Racing Engines
Earnhardt-Childress Racing Engines was formed in May 2007 as a joint venture between Dale Earnhardt, Inc., and Richard Childress Racing. With a strong business relationship between the two companies established for decades, ECR was quickly on the fast track.
One of the first decisions made was where the work would be accomplished. The RCR campus, in Welcome, N.C., is home to the Sprint Cup Series engine production facility and the engine research and development shop. DEI, in Mooresville, is home to the Nationwide Series and Craftsman Truck Series engine production facility. Despite the 50 miles between the two facilities, modern technology creates an atmosphere of working side by side.
ECR currently employs more than 130 professionals dedicated to building the best high performance racing engines at the track. Day-to-day leadership is provided by Richie Gilmore, Chief Operating Officer. ECR strives every day to lead the industry in performance and innovation.
ECR is located on Austin Lane in Lexington, NC approximately 10 minutes south of Winston-Salem at Interstate 40 and approximately one hour north of Charlotte.
