Dale Earnhardt Day 2014

We had a great Dale Day here at DEI on April 29th, 2014. It is always one of the best times of the year, when his fans and friends get together to celebrate his life on his birthday, and this year was no exception. 

Our newest display opened in the DEI Public Showroom, featuring a look at how the many branches of Dale Earnhardt Inc. carry his legacy forward.

In honor of Dale’s birthday, fans were able to sit in one of Dale’s favorite cars…..a 1962 Chevy BelAir….while watching "Dale – The Movie" being shown on the giant back wall of the Grand Showroom.

The Dale Earnhardt Inc. Archives Department treated the fans to two Exhibitions of some of Dale’s trophies and memorabilia….up close and personal, with behind-the-scenes stories and a look at what it takes to protect and preserve these priceless artifacts.

Earnhardt Technologies Group brought their ETG showcart to the party, showing our guests some of what keeps them one of the busiest entities in motorsports.

And then there were THE CUPCAKES!! Yumm! Best ones yet!

A cool new Food Truck, great items and great deals in the DEI Retail Store, and our outstanding Volunteers made for a fun day for all. Hope you can join us next year!
