Honoring Dale Earnhardt
The Charlotte NC skyline was illuminated with an impressive light show on February 18, 2014, in honor of Dale Earnhardt.
Both the 786 foot tall Duke Energy Building and the NASCAR Hall of Fame changed their outside displays to blue lights in tribute to the seven-time NASCAR Champion, who passed away thirteen years ago on that date.
The illuminated tribute was set to coincide with the annual Candlelight Remembrance at Dale Earnhardt Inc., in Mooresville, NC
